Question
We have a customer using someone elses brand of maintenance products and are inquiring about using distilled or ionized water to mix with the products. Their tap water is reducing the effectiveness of the products, thoughts? - Anonymous, KENT, WA
Answer
Having to use distilled and or ionized water will add to the cost of your floor maintenance program. Tap water can include foreign particles such calcium, magnesium and other “hard” minerals rendering problems with some floor maintenance products. Our floor maintenance program is formulated to work with standard tap water and won’t be adversely affected by trace minerals or other potable water contaminants. More information can be found on our website or by emailing Service@DescoIndustries.com.
