Question
Normally we use tape for packaging but it was put on a part instead. What I want to know is if there is any residue & if there is what solvent can we use to remove it. -Anonymous
Answer
If you encounter staining [adhesive being left behind upon removal of tape] of the clear cellulose antistatic tape (which you shouldn't under normal usage) then you can remove this rubber based adhesive with any standard solvent. Denatured alcohol would be my recommendation, the manufacturer had recommended any solvent and specifically suggested lighter fluid (I'd be careful with that one). More information about this tape line can be found in our Tech bulletins, which are attached to each of our items and our on-line Catalog.
