Question
I have asked this question few days ago but received no answer. Please help. How do I differenciate the damages due to: a) HBM; b) MM; c) CDM
Understood that by looking into the FA graph, one should be able to tell. Is it true? - Anonymous
Answer
I’ll have to be researching this a bit more before I can give you a good answer. Basically, the 3 different models have different current/voltage pulses representing the ESD event, and as you progress from HBM to CDM to MM, the response increases in both slew rate and energy.
