Question
We want to buy conductive foam, but we have an issue to solve before. Our products need to go through a lubrication process. After we let the product dry on a table with the foam. Will the foam resist the lubrication process, will it keep its ESD properties, will it dry or else. Our lube is made of thinner and 0.35% of paraffin. - Alexander Gagn‚, C-MAC Interconnect, Sherbrooke, Canada
Answer
You would need a closed cell foam to resist absorbing the lubricate. What is the function of the foam? That will be important to decide what foam will work.
