Question What is the typical surface to ground resistance? - Anonymous, Taipa, NON, Macau
Answer Assuming you are referring to mat or working surfaces, the typcical surface ot ground resistance (or RTG) is less than 1x109 ohms according to ANSI/ESD S20.20. S4.1 would add that the Resistance-to-groundable point have a lower end range from 1x106 to 1x109 ohms. This is extremely important for safety concerns and when designing around a CDM model.
