Question Hello,

I have a question regarding your Ionization equipment:

We have a room that is 22'  x  14'. Is there a piece of equipment that would be able to neutralize the entire room, or should I be outfitting each workstation with an individual ionizer?

Thanks,
Bonnie
Answer

Yes, a room ionization system can be installed.

Per Table 3 of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007, the required limit of Room Ionization Systems is +/- 150 volts offset voltage. In addition the user needs to determine the maximum discharge times.

Having an ionizer at each workstation typically would provide faster discharge times. Per Table 3 of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007, the required limit of Ionization other than Room Systems is +/- 50 volts offset voltage. In addition the user needs to determine the maximum discharge times. See a selection of overhead and bench ionizers at our website.
